I recently purchased this game and my cursor won't appear in game. It will appear if I open the Steam dashboard thing, but once I'm back in, it's gone. I'm playing this game on a Mac Book Air(I understand it's not the best computer for gaming, but that's kind of why I want to see my cursor). Take into mind the game runs, and I can click to attack and move, but I have no idea where I'm. The Witcher – Enhanced Edition Directors Cut v1.5 for (MacOS) 10.86 GB The Witcher is a role-playing game set in a dark fantasy world where moral ambiguity reigns. Shattering the line between good and evil, the game emphasizes story and character development, while incorporating a tactically-deep, real-time combat system.

Review:

CD Projekt Red recently released the Mac OS X version of their popular RPG, The Witcher. This is one of the most realistic and fun RPGs I have played in a long while. The world portrayed is full of wonder, monsters, and interesting characters. It is realistic in that as you move through this world, your actions change events, as well as NPC attitudes toward the main character; background NPCs make comments, sometimes about their lives, sometimes about you, and they interact with each other. You will encounter all types of people and creatures in this fantasy world, some will interact with speech, others with the sword. You will need to explore the lands of The Witcher, collecting equipment, defeating various creatures and people, and learning from the locals and the books they sell. It is well done and will offer hours of enjoyment.

The Witcher (the game), is based on the Witcher series of fantasy books by the Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski (If you like fantasy novels I highly recommend reading them, although it is not a requirement for enjoying the game). The world of the Witcher is a dark one. Humankind has slowly but surely taken over the world, driving out the other races (Dwarves, Elves, and such) as well as magical creatures of all types. Witchers were originally developed to help mankind deal with magical creatures that prevented them from expanding as they desired. As time marched on, and the numbers of these creatures declined, the need for Witchers has decreased. So, they have become outcasts themselves.

A Witcher is a warrior who has been mutated and trained specifically to fight all varieties of monsters. As a general rule, a Witcher is an excellent swordsperson. A witcher typically has two types of swords, a steel one for humans and beasts and a silver one for magical monsters. He can also wield magic and can become skilled in the art of potion making, known as alchemy. To succeed with the most powerful monsters the Witcher makes use of all three of these aspects, using his exceptional knowledge of the monsters and how to deal with them.

You play the part of the main character of the books, Geralt of Rivia, known as the White Wolf. Something has affected his memory, so he has forgotten his past (which means the game can start you at lower levels and let you build up your character). Geralt returns to the castle where he first trained as a Witcher and the story and interaction begins.

You will need to guide Geralt as he regains his knowledge of the world. Much of his knowledge is regained through interacting with NPCs. Doing so will reveal pieces of the game's stories, Geralt's history, and the world this takes place in, either through direct conversation or through completion of quests. The Witcher requires that the player search the world both for information and characters to interact with, but the searching isn't difficult and is often very fun. The world is full of interesting characters for Geralt to speak with. Some have past history with him, some can become friends, and others will become enemies. For instance, while traveling down a road at night I happened upon a travelling trader and started a conversation. It so happens that Geralt had done this trader a service for which he was never paid, so the trader offered him the reward. Dying light - shu warrior bundle cracked.

The world of The Witcher is very realistic, although a bit on the dark side. Few people are nice, although they can be. As a general rule, Witchers are disliked and misunderstood. You will quickly find that the NPCs you interact with start off as suspicious and mistrusting. Often, Geralt has to perform some task to gain their trust. Geralt himself doesn't have the best opinion of the people around him either. He tends to a more brusque mode of interaction as a rule. Geralt can make friends as well as enemies, it all depends upon how you choose to interact with those around you. And, as is often true in real life, one must choose to take one side or another, making both an enemy and a friend.
